Dalmatian puppies are a familiar term as most of us have seen or heard of the movie 101 Dalmatians. The movie did great at theatres and added to the popularity of Dalmatian puppies. Dalmatian puppies belong to breed of dog which has its relations to a region of Croatia called Dalmatia, from where it got its name. Dalmatian puppies are very popular pets all around the world and are known for its peculiar look with black or brown spots on coat. This category of dogs is recognized for their excellent fortitude and stamina, that’s why they were previously used as carriage dogs in the past. Dalmatian puppies do not have the spotted appearance at birth which starts to emerge only after about a week after birth.
The puppies are very popular and one the reasons is that their coat does not have more amount of oil so they remain fairly clean and does not have that odour that accompany most dogs. Dalmatian puppies are very good-natured, lively, faithful and clever. They are famous to provide a great company to their owners if allowed to socialize well early in age. If not taken care of they can end up becoming dogs that do not match up with the expectations of owners.
Extra time and effort is required to bring up the Dalmatian puppies into adults to match up with the needs of the owner. They can be used as a salvage dog, custodian and an active member of the family. Care has to be taken as to what they are given for eating. This breed has a large appetite and can eat almost everything they are given. The Dalmatian puppies are very active and for their proper bringing up need a lot of exercise on regular basis.
