KEESHOND PUPPIES


Keeshond puppies belong to Spitz family of breed and are dependable, brawny and squashed. They love the company of their owners and are very loyal towards them. That’s the reason they are highly accepted as cohort and watch dogs. They are very close to the family they live in but are distant of any newcomer. The best part for them being watch dogs is that they always bark when see somebody new or strange and are never hostile towards them and therefore do not cause any harm. The breed is considered very intelligent. They can accept a stranger easily if they are introduced by their keepers.

Keeshond puppies have an excellent temperament and nature. They require regular attention and time based activities so that they are indulged and remain calm and relaxed. As they are very intelligent they require new and interactive sessions and activities to prevent them from being bored of the similar activities every time. Keeshond puppies will turn out to be hyperactive indoors if they do not get proper and sufficient exercises outdoors.

 

Keeshond puppies have to be provided with appropriate diet and exercise in the exact ratio. If anything does not match they can easily become overweight and obese. Keeshond puppies have a thick skin coat which does not dissipate heat easily so can be a problem in hot climates. Special care has to be kept regarding keeping Keeshond puppies cool in such environments. Keeshond puppies do not require much of a cleaning and that has to be done only when needed. Otherwise regular brushing can serve the purpose. They have to be socialized early in life so that they mingle well with other people and pets. The concern can be that they are very keen barkers and have to be taught when to stop barking.

 

Although they have to be trained for the same to avoid overbarking and become irritable. They have a good nature and require regular exercises and attention to keep them calm and composed.
