The Miniature Pinscher breed of dog is dubbed as the Min Pin. The word Pinscher is a German word pertaining to terrier. Terriers are small dogs of various breeds which were originally used for digging out foxes etc. Min Pin puppies are considered to be toy dogs because of their appearance, size and stature. Min Pin puppies are very shiny, graceful and proportionate.
They have a stylish walk which is very attractive as they pass by with their high stepping walking pattern. They are usually 10 to 12 inches tall and weigh approximately 8 to 12 pounds. They are very sensitive to cold weather so should be kept warm with warm clothing in winters and cold environments. Min Pin puppies can be brought up easily. They are very easy to carry and can be cleaned easily. They have to be socialized early in life to avoid problems related to its behaviour later in life. If not handled properly they can be very obstinate at times. They are not good with kids and people who handle them roughly. There are instances where Min Pin has bitten small children when they are very aggressive with them. The best time to train them is early life when things can be easily taught to them and puppies are also more eager and interested to learn.
