Potty training puppies simply means that we want to train our puppies so that they do potty in a specific area of our desire and do not make our place dirty. Usually the very first task of our wish for the newcomers is potty training puppies. Doing so ensures that you can let the little fellow roam around in the house without supervision and do not have to consider cleaning your sofas or carpets on a regular basis. Potty training puppies imply to make them ready for housebreaking. Assume this as the first task through which you are about to establish a rapport and start a new relationship.
You can start of potty training puppies as soon as they are almost 8 weeks old. Frame a time table for your puppy and their activities and always stick to it. Eating, exercise, cleaning and potty training has to be in a scheduled manner. This is to make the puppy accustomed to the rules of the family and their new home. Take them to the scheduled place for doing potty after they have eaten something. If they do the desired act reward them with something of their liking.
Never yell or be angry with your puppy if they make the place dirty or do not do potty at the desired place. If you find your puppy restless or searching a place to do the act, just distract them with some noise and take them to the desired place of doing the act. If they do so praise them and reward them with some eatables. Usually puppies search for the same place in the house to eliminate by smelling it. So never keep the place dirty and clean it up thoroughly to avoid your puppy to eliminate again at the same place.
