Vizsla puppies got their names because of their great sense of smell and recovering the hunted animal. Vizsla literally means pointer. So they were used as pointing and finding out the preys during hunting and that’s why were usually used as hunting dogs. They have a brawny body and an average sized frame. Although not used for hunting now and are very accepted as pets always keep in mind that they are very aggressive because of their basic instincts. This is the reason that Vizsla puppies are very active and for controlling their temperament and behaviour they require regular and forceful exercise sessions. As they are very lively they are not at all recommended as pets for people living in apartments.
Vizsla puppies require large areas of space that too properly secured as they need areas to move around. They have to be exercised well including play, jogging and other activities so that they do not use their energy in wrong ways. They have to be trained early in life to be leashed with a proper collar. Vizsla puppies are very intelligent breed and can be trained.
