Weimaraner puppies were basically used for hunting purposes and evolved from Germany. Weimaraner puppies were registered for the first time in 1943 by American Kennel Association. They are an excellent pet and can provide you company for almost ten years if provided with proper care and affection.

 

Weimaraner puppies can be trained to be very good watch and guard dogs. They need lots of exercise all through the day to keep their energy levels down to have controlled behavior and temperament. For this they require regular walks and running may be outdoors and need space inside the house also for the same purpose. Weimaraner puppies are not at all good with other pets and have to be socialized very early in life to prevent incidents.

 

They are very agile and active and therefore should not be kept unsupervised with kids and small children. Weimaraner puppies have an exclusive coat and skin which is very soft and feels great. They should be cleaned and groomed on a regular basis to have their skin shine and remain hygienic. To prevent tooth associated problems proper cleaning and care should be taken to avoid tartar and plaque to build up. This breed is known to have gastric problems. Special consideration is never to make them run after meals as this can lead to bloating which can cause serious problems. Ask the health provider for specifications regarding their diet and eating habits. Generally it is recommended that Weimaraner puppies should always be provided with intermittent and small meals all through the day. To keep your Weimaraner puppies fit and healthy, proper health checkups at regular intervals is a must. This breed is susceptible towards some conditions such as: - hip dysplasia, bleeding disorders and also gastric problems.
